Hello my name is Firas. I am from Syria. I am 40 years old. For 25 years I work in the field of art and decoration. I love my job so much, it’s the source of my living. I use iron and wood to make furniture or special decoration.

 

I’m in Amsterdam since 09.29.2015 and I’m waiting to get my residency. Now I am living in a camp in Amsterdam, called Flierbosdreef.

 

I left my country because of the war and I came to the Netherlands. I like to give something special from my handwork to the Netherlands in the camp where I live. I made this billboard because music is the language of the World and everybody can understand it.
